Rolls-Royce Partners with Bharat Forge to Manufacture Fan Blades for Pearl Engine Series

Rolls-Royce has announced a strategic partnership with Bharat Forge Ltd to manufacture and supply fan blades for its Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines. The agreement represents a major step in Rolls-Royce’s ongoing effort to strengthen in-country manufacturing capabilities and expand its network of local strategic partnerships in India.

This collaboration aligns with Rolls-Royce’s broader commitment to double its supply chain sourcing from India by 2030, reinforcing the nation’s growing role in the global aerospace manufacturing landscape. The production of advanced fan blades in India will further integrate Indian engineering excellence into Rolls-Royce’s worldwide operations, supporting its vision of sustainable and efficient engine development.

Commenting on the partnership, Sashi Mukundan, Executive Vice President – Transformation, Rolls-Royce India, said, “We are delighted to deepen our partnership with Bharat Forge in support of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
