Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited has commenced a major expansion of its aluminium die-casting facility at Kottaiyur Village, Thiruvallur District, Chennai, backed by an investment of ₹200 crore. The expansion is aimed at boosting production capacity, deepening vertical integration, and enhancing the company’s precision manufacturing capabilities.

The project will add high-pressure die-casting machines ranging from 1,400 to 4,400 tonnes, expanded machining lines, and a new 13,000 sq. m built-up area. Once completed, the Chennai plant will operate as a fully integrated precision manufacturing hub serving a wide spectrum of automotive applications.

The upgraded facility will support a diversified customer base, including global OEMs such as Cummins and Generac (USA), domestic players like TVS Motor Company in the premium two-wheeler segment, and emerging electric vehicle module manufacturers. Post-expansion, Jaya Hind targets an annual installed capacity of approximately 20,000 tonnes.

Large-scale investments in high-precision die-casting underscore India’s accelerating push to localise complex component manufacturing. Stronger vertical integration and advanced machining capabilities will be critical for meeting global quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks across both ICE and EV supply chains.
