As one of India’s most prominent tyre manufacturers, BEDROCK Tyres has been at the forefront of innovation, safety, and sustainability. With the automotive industry undergoing a rapid transformation driven by electric vehicles, digital technologies, and sustainability imperatives, BEDROCK has been expanding its product portfolio and operations to meet these evolving demands.

The Indian automotive and tyre industries are undergoing a rapid change. How do you see the tyre market evolving over the upcoming 3–5 years?

Over the upcoming 3-5 years, the Indian 2/3-wheeler market will see continuous dominance in the aftermarket demand driven by the vast existing vehicle count on roads and increasing replacement demand due to heavy usage. The increasing adoption of electric 2-wheelers will necessitate specialized EV tyres with improved grip, lower rolling resistance, and enhanced durability for heavier, higher-torque vehicles. Digitalization, including smart sensors and e-commerce, will also play a growing role in sales and maintenance.

What are BEDROCK’s key areas of focus when it comes to innovation and R&D?

BEDROCK Tyres and Tubes primarily focuses its R&D on material science for superior rubber compounds, innovative tread pattern design for better grip and durability, and advanced manufacturing techniques like Nitrocure Technology for improved quality and longevity. Our goal is to deliver high-performance, comfortable, and durable tyres and tubes for 2/3-wheelers that meet both OEM and aftermarket demands.
